I bet a can of dog food, Nintendo is pulling shenanigans on us, once again. But if they manage to impress me, I will eat that can of dog food  :mspacman: from the can.

Don't look into the Typeface L_E_T, don't look into the Typeface.

L___E___T

I have no idea what that means, but I have a bet on with a colleague too about CafĂ©.

Whatever the case, Nintendo will keep making money and I strongly believe they know what they're doing.  It's Sony I worry about, as they seem so misguided and don't seem to learn, but that's another story.

You have to rememebr that Nintendo has always been for younger gamers (kids and adults included) though and that strategy is what's made them so successful; over the years.  I can assure it's waaay easier to market to younger gamers than it is older folks and I think that has a lot to do with it.

Whine about Wii if you like, but I'd have still bought one just for the first party games.
Remember, nobody is forcing you to buy anything so under no circumstances are you being 'screwed'.

Spoiler
Also - 1984 was a book.

I'm getting a bit worried about you now - that movie was 'Brazil'.  Truly great movie, but a starkly different message to 1984...

Its a little hard to respond to the ramblings of a troll so I'll just keep it simple and just address the thread's title.

(cough cough)

Aren't video games supposed to be for children???

Including adult children like myself?

OK.  That is all I got.

Yes that is right nobody is forcing us, but to play X game people "strongly believes" they need to get this system. I am talking about all of us sending letters, emails to the ceo's, programmers, and offices demanding support for the GCN, at least.

Famicom world users, look back on the Famicom. Family Computer. A machine meant for the family. Family fun. Which could be anybody or anything. However many people, even the real "gamers" of the NECer, MSXers, Amiga's, and even Atario's out their all was amazed and delighted by it. Then SEGA, SONY, and even Mafiasoft oozed on down, the road, attempting to pull a leg at Nintendo's game. Even if all if this was all generated from an idea from a person who was not a programmer at all.

I kinda feel like this when I think about Nintendo.

Nobody forced us, but nobody told us how to stop. Out of the Ashes, I eventually removed myself from the loop of being a Nintendo fan. No more I will sing and dance in their praise ( unless paid ), and pretend, everything will be okay.

What's your native language, RegalSin? I've yet to make any sense out of your ramblings...maybe it's because you use too many phrases and expressions in your writing. Regardless, your writing lacks clarity and concision.

Where were you going with that Gamecube part...?

son_ov_hades

Honestly, who gives a shit about the Gamecube?

Everything is okay.  There's nothing wrong with what Nintendo's doing.  You're talking about this like it's an addiction when you say "nobody told us how to stop."  If you don't like it, then quit playing the games.  No one's going to tell you to do anything else.  So just stop playing the games and stop rambling on about this.  I'm going to ask the same question as ericj; what exactly is your native language?
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

That is right you have a choice. To not buy the next system for absolutely no reason at all, and just stick with what you have, and play what you never sampled before. Or you could believe the following.

Come on who are going to believe. A PR with plastic lips, or some random nut from the internetz, that calls itself RegalSin?

Sega Sanshiro, I think not :diskkun:

We also have this guy

lets not forget about her

Familiar isn't it :blinky:

This guy's face makes me not want to buy ANYTHING Nintendo-related.

Third request for native language.

I think you should wait for E3 before you call out Nintendo on their system.
