Yeah, I meant in general.  There are rarer carts, of course.  Many of them aren't really *worth* more than $20, though.  You're paying a lot just because they're collectible, not because they're necessarily good games.

Albeit, Recca is damn hard, which makes it a good game on it's own, Spartan X 2 is also (not as) hard, but good..
And a disk with SMB/SMB2j is just awesome :P

Any more good Disk System games? I'm going to be a new owner of one and am wondering if there are any must-have games under $20.

Doki Doki Panic is an awesome Disk System game, I'm sure you already know this, but it's what NOA got SMB2 from, but Doki Doki Panic is way better
Tobidase Daisakusen is a fun game, the 3D isn't the best, but nonetheless fun and cheap
Obviously SMB2j, the super challenging "official hack" of SMB
Hikari Shinwa: Palutena no Kagami (Kid Icarus)
Metroid

I actually prefer SMB2's sound effects, the DDP ones are kinda irritating. The addition of a run button, a polished Bonus screen, and a new enemy (Clawgrip) are also great.

The sound effects are nice, but I see DDP as more of a challenge for two reasons...
You can't run from the truth
You have to beat the game with ALL 4 characters to see the true ending

Yeah, I've gotta agree. I love Doki Doki Panic and all, but Super Mario Bros. USA  is definitely superior to it. It's still a great game, though! I got my copy for $25 five years ago.

No idea about how popular this one is, but the first Ultraman game on the Disk System is pretty fun, and I haven't found a Disk System game yet that's cheaper.

Yeah, I'm going to be a new Disk System owner within a week so I'm trying some games out.  ;D
