Why can't you just buy it from him through PayPal, since that's what eBay uses anyway?  It's extra work and money to put it on eBay.

eBay takes a portion of the sale with listing and selling fees. No one really wants to go through all that crap if you know that someone already wants to buy it.

I've only had one problem buying something on here out of probably around 100 transactions. You're more likely to be a problem than a trusted member from this site is.

yeah, ebay flat out sucks and thats why most people are putting stuff to offer on here, if they wanted to sell on ebay, the items would be on ebay.
