Do unlicensed games also count??

I believe these games were never released on the Famicom (at least I've never seen cartridges presenting them):
Addams Family
Addams Family: Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt
Advanced Dungeons & Dragons-series (too lazy to list them all)
Captain Planet
Darkman
Dirty Harry
Eliminator Boat Duel
Fester's Quest
Home Alone
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
Joe & Mac
Jeopardy! (and its "sequels" & stuff)
Monster Truck Rally
Motor City Patrol
Nightmare on Elm Street
Ren & Stimpy
Simpsons-series (too lazy to list them all)
Solar Jetman
Solstice
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Time Lord
Tom & Jerry
Trog!
Untouchables, The
Vegas Dream
Wayne's World
Where's Waldo?
Winter Games
Zen: Intergalactic Ninja

In fact, there's tons of them. Just take a look at any romset/list, scroll down and write down

By the way, what's with the list on the 1st page?? It's missing so many titles...

This thread isn't for listing NES games that were not released on the Famicom, it's for NES games developed in Japan that were not released for the Famicom.

And, yeah, the original post hasn't been updated in a while.

Solstice was released on Famicom, but nonetheless I didn't think it was Japanese-developed anyway.

Could we update the first post with a solid list as a sticky?
I think this and the FDS exclusives (and Disk Writer) lists are quite important to be clear on, as documentation/resources for the site.

For what it's worth, I think games like Shatterhand and Power Blade should totally be part of that list.
Sure their counterparts were released, but those games as that content never made it over.

Perhaps they could be specially marked as such on the list with a symbol (and a note, but not just a note).

I'll work on getting the first post updated.  We don't sticky individual lists, we just add them to the stickied lists thread.

I think "games with content overhauls" would be a different list.

Done and done.  Big thanks to RC2C05-99, whose contributions make up the bulk of the list.

I forget if it's been mentioned already, but I think the first T&C game was developed in Japan.

Added RC2C05-99's latest to the OP.  I also separated out the list of games whose arcade release had a Japanese dev, but was ported to the FC by non-Japanese.

Ultimate Journey.....but it never ended up released. It was developed for Bandai by the same team behind Frankenstein.
