Hehe, I had my eye on that Disk Writer but it said the hinge was bust.  I have a new one in storage, but I would've liked one for my desk.
Nice finds though everyone - I especially like to see Ryo's new rarities! :)

Yeah, i noticed that too. But i hope a small nail will do the job

Nothing too big, but these are just the Famicom games I purchased at an import store during a recent trip I went on.

Bucky O' Hare (Complete)
Rockman 6 (Complete)
Daiku No Gen San
Daiku No Gen San 2
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

Wow, boxed Rockman 6?  If that didn't set you back a pretty penny you are a lucky man indeed.

senseiman

DerZocker - thanks!

Nightstar - nice finds.  Not just the Rockman 6, but Bucky O`hare is also a tough one to find boxed.

If I recall correctly, it was fairly cheap, only 20 dollars, or perhaps 25. I definitely got lucky with that one.

Thanks! I had always wanted that game, so I figured I might as well get it CIB since it was cheap.

Yeah, that's cheaper than it goes for in Japan now.
I got my boxed Rockman 6 for 980 Yen if I remember right. That was a nice find.

Rockman 6 Boxed for 980?  And you complain that I get all the bargains:)

manuel

Unfortunately, although it was boxed, my Rockman 6 didn't come with instructions.  :-\

And you still lead the "good finds" game by a wide margin.  :'(

Picked up this today up for 3,480 yen

Famicom in that condition is hard to come by complete !  :o Only the AC adapter is not original but I have spare... (finally a reason for all those shit-heavy lumps I have had shipped)
An unused modem, though the top is missing, is still a nice accessory...

That that I'm on it, I might as well show this I won yesterday for 10 000 yen

Ah, a couple classics there.  I got a Mario 3 of my own yesterday..

Oh, and nice GUN fredJ!  Those are tough to come by.

Here are the recent pickups as I go through another building phase...

turkishproverb

Won this today.
Finally a square button famicom for a reasonable price (outside this forum hardly anyone wants it). I found it by accident almost...
1,480 yen

The serial number on this unit (for those people who collect/record such things): H1907388

I am just as happy about the guide book and whatever that detective things is. And some decent games too: Donkey Kong, DK Math, Macross, Sqoon.. etc..

Come to think of it, would a H1907388 really be square buttoned...? If you know please reply thanks...  ???

I might as well continue my momentum, maybe I can compete with senseiman, haha.
Let me know if you think I am spamming this thread.

1000 yen for this (got lucky).
Mainly the Rockman are interesting here. 1 and 6 are the rarest, but they all sell well. Hokuto No Ken is surprisingly popular, Nekketsu games are all good; however the two Magical Taruurutu Kun are not as popular as  they deserve to be....

On the other hand, I lost out on an AV Famicom, that went for 1000 yen, because I had technical difficulties.  ???

Where do you find all those cheapo auctions?  :o
All the auctions I get in have at least one a*hole person sniping in a higher bid at the last second.
