Yeah, Armadillo is a great game! Too bad its sequel was canceled!

Indeed... same for the U.S. release. At one point I saw what was supposedly a screenshot from the unreleased Armadillo 2, our hero looked quite different in it, it seems they were taking it in a different graphical style.

I recently got myself a famicom....

with "some games" 


and today, some surprisingly cheap disk system games





I used to be cautious about FDS games but now I love them...
You don't have to clean them and they don't wear like carts do. Also there is that cool famicom disk system music and when the intro screen scrolling up it's like in a cinema.  Except when it says "Err. " then it's more like "what a #¤%& piece of junk this #¤%&can't believe this useless #¤%& I ever bought, why I bother..."

Both are PAL and therefor useless, but the GoodBoy is a pretty cool famiclone if you ask me. It has a 9999 brick game as the LCD and the famicom carts plug into the back.

I've gotten a ton of Famicom stuff lately, once my next order arrives I'll probably take a picture of everything.

Yes, it was quite expensive, but it's the cheapest I've seen a cart only copy go for so I decided to get it out of the way.

Made the stupidest purchase of my collecting life today.  Spartan X 2 for 1500 yen.

Thats a pretty good price, but it pays to actually know what the cart you are buying is supposed to look like before paying, otherwise you will get a massively sun faded one without realizing it like me:

Basically almost every time I buy something (slightly expensive) I find the same or a better item for a cheaper price within a few days/weeks. 
Recently I bought an LED TV. Now I'm expecting to see the same model for like 5,000-10,000 Yen cheaper in some retailer advert. It's bound to happen!

That's an "unfind". But you could probably sell it for at least 15$ or so.

LOL, the same thing happens to me.  Whenever I buy something expensive I always have buyers remorse afterwards because I usually find it for a cheaper price.  I remember buying a PS2 about 10 or 11 years ago just before they announced one of their price drops.

I got a solution!
I won't look at Yamada denki leaflets for the next 3 months. 
This way I won't notice even if the same model is cheaper. Hah!
