I got this in a trade, should of got a Famicom Shell

You say that, but I had a (free) shell ready and waiting here for you that you didn't want to pay postage on - so it went to someone else.  I gave it a good 6 months before doing so, to be fair.

Wow, it sure sounds like there was plenty of time to be had on that.

MarioMania

I would never thought I would own a Flash Cart

I found it on pcenginefx..He was looking for some Turbo Games

I offered him Bonk's Adventure & Bloody Wolf for a trade, thinking he won't accept

He did

Sounds like a good trade, but if you didn't think you would get a flashcart, why was I hanging on to the shell for you?  :bub:

It's ok, no hard feelings but I wanted to give you a free thing and it felt like you weren't fussed, so I guess you hurt my feelings a tiny bit.  No worries though, I don't want you to feel bad about it!

Congratulations on that copy of Papuwa! I can't stress that game's greatness enough, as well as the anime it's based on.

thanks :) but you are the reason I sought it out I seen you post it in an earlier post  still looking for a few other you liked like  dino city  see lurking has some advantages ;D

Glad to see I've inspired someone to try out some great games. While you're at it, do yourself a favor and seek out GS Mikami on the Super Famicom, as well as Zenki: Battle Raiden. I just got the latter the other day and I've been enjoying it a lot.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

Another vote for SFC GS Mikami. One of my top favorite games on the console.

I've purchased some nice things this year, but haven't really had time to take pictures of them.  But here are some things I picked up yesterday:

Game Fighter:

The box is in terrible condition, and the unit is in PAL format.  Because of needing a converter plug to run the machine, I am a bit afraid to test it out.  About ten years ago I (possibly) fried a Dendy in this fashion, when I was young and stupid.

As you can see, this machine has slots to play both Famicom and Sega Mega Drive games.  Quite a machine which was ahead for its time, I guess, also being all built into a joystick.

And of course some controller ports and switches:

I also enjoy the fact that the machine is advertised as being 24 bit -  I presume they get this number from adding the 8 bit Famicom and 16 bit Sega together, but in reality the conclusion of 24 bit is just funny.

I also found a generic Famicom clone, but I enjoy the box for it:

And finally, an official Taiwanese Sega Mega Drive (this one is up for sale if anyone is interested):

Got around to processing more stuff from my mega haul from Japan a while back. Decided to tackle famicom related stuff I could find in the shipping boxes. Here are some of them. Lots more famicom goodness to come!  ;D

Got another boxed fami twin. This time the AN-500R. Also a Disk Writer fami diskette storage unit, mini Super Mario Bros boardgame, Famicom gun & holster, Tokyo Game Show Nintendo Sign and accompanying Gold Mario statue and fami Robot setup.

The proper way to store your diskettes!  ;D

AMAZING.

I posted in the other thread - but what's the white box gun?  Is it just from the red box?  I have the red one but I don't think I've seen the white one before...

I do hope I can get the gold sign and gold chubby Mario at some point too.  They go together like Famicom and Disk System :bub:

The white box looks like it contains a holster???

stealthlurker

Yup it's a stand-alone holster. I guess there was an option to buy the holster separately. Eventually I'd like to get the pack that has the gun and holster together in one box too, but no rush.

Hmmm - is it brand new?  If so, fancy doing a straight swap?

White gun box for the complete (new) set with holster?  I think I am missing that white box for my collection and I'm ot sure of my chances of getting it otherwise.

The gun & holster set is very rare, this I have is only the second one I've seen in new condition in around 8 years or so of collecting.

Maybe I have got the gun in the white box, I can't remember - I got all the gun stuff some years back, so there's a chance I may already have it, let me tryand find out...
New holster sets are fewand far between though so maybe it's something you're interested in.
