Nice!  Is that the full version or the half version, on the SMB2 port?

What's the half version?  I can get to worlds A-D with the code.  How can I tell which is which?

Yours should be the full version then :)  Some ports of SMB2JP stop after world 4 or so.

I believe that version is only found on multicarts.

No, I have had some half version SMB2 Lost Levels on cart, but also (think) that I have the full version on cart (I Never really play this game much).  I've heard rumors that the Kaiser version is the full version, the others are half version.  But both exist on single carts.

I've owned many variants and never saw one ending on 4-4. The Kaiser port is one of the many full ports available. Kaiser's not even the original port I believe.
The only cuts I've heard is that there's is a bunch that do not include A-D worlds.

But it's interesting to know that there is a 'bad' one out there. Was it released by Whirlwind?

It might have been, I don't remember anymore.  But I had one for sale at one point, and someone on here had asked me about it.  Since I didn't know, I had decided to give the game a play through anyway (I had nothing better to do that night) and then it ended after 4-4, just stopped.    And I know that was a single cart.

Hey Dave,

I know it's old news at this point, but I'm (very happy for you/am jealous of) the deal you got on that Hyper Shot. The light gun freak in me is going to need one of those at some point, but at least that one has gone to a good home.

Thanks Jackson.  :)  I grabbed mine from a guy locally, if it helps to ease the pain a bit.  That is one thing I love about Famicom is the special controllers that pair with the games.  I really like the whac-a-mole set too, just really neat (but fairly useless) items that make the Famicom a lot more enjoyable than the NES, imo.  Whenever you get a Hypershot, I want to hear your thoughts on it btw ;)

^^^ Wow, nice finds as always!!!

The thing I have to wonder though, is how do you organize / store all of your games, merchandise, etc?  When I am out and about, I constantly see interesting game-related items, joysticks, etc. but after awhile I just started passing up a large portion of what I see, simply because I am not sure I would have room to store it all.

Thank you sir  :)

I have several cabinets and closets in the house for things I believe I will use within the next few weeks. Then I have storage bins in the garage for things I might use in the next few months. Then I have a storage room, garage, closets at my other house for things I will not use in the foreseeable future.

If you're seeing stuff like this in the wild, I'm guessing you live in Japan? For most people over there I assume space is a big issue. I live in the good ol' USA so we've got a bit more space  :)

I wanna know where you keep buying this stuff. It can't be eBay, they jack up the prices on there.  :P
