I usually don't post about something until I have it in my hands but I'm too excited about this one

Jeez that's a good deal... Congrats!

Got in a few Famicom books many are probably already familiar with  :)

Nice - I was tempted to get the one on the right - is it any good?  As good as the others?

I think it's a pretty cool book, as someone who has/had some of the old famicom guide books and doujin stuff it's nice to see a lot of the stuff that was out there listed by publisher with a picture of the cover. The unique art a lot of these guides had always interested me:

Ghegs

So wait, it's a guide book for guide books?

Arasoi

Yep, divide by 0 as it were. It probably doesn't have everything that came out, but I've seen a ton in this guide I haven't seen before and I used to comb Yahoo Japan Auctions fairly often.

I'd buy some Famicom-related printed material such as these guide books.
That, and also 90's copies of Famitsu.  Are they rare in Japan resale shops?    :coin:

I was able to order them with a amazon.jp account and have them shipped to me from prime sellers to the US, I think it only incurred a 7 dollar shipping and handling fee each.

The Famicom 83-94 book is the more interesting of the two I think, the photos are from a 2003 museum exhibit and it contains an english translation for all the text (somewhat spotty in some areas, but good enough). It's out of print so more expensive, but worth it I think.

I got this in yesterday, I got it based on some advice from another famicom enthusiast, and the underrated/underappreciated games thread here in the other sub forum. It's a really cool game, and one of the best looking on the system in many spots. A true "hidden gem".

Very nice master disk. That Zelda 2 cart still has a safe home with me. A true center piece in my collection. Could you please post a pic of the back label of this Zelda 1 cart? also is it English or Japanese?

fcgamer

Interesting how the cart has the number "2" on the label.

If this cart is in English, I would love to purchase or trade you for this, should you decide to part with it.
