Protoman

Not Famicom but I found a SF Memory Cart with Sutte Hakkun on it, for only about $70!
It also had the caravan shooting collection containing Star Force, Star Soldier and Hector '87, but I don't like shooters so that's a "eh" for me.

That's a good find, and the Caravan Shooting Collection is also quite a desired game...

That's one of the great things about buying used SFC NP carts IMO - I picked up one that had Rockman X and Demon's Crest on to my surprise, both with the little stickers too!

Another one had the download version of Mother 2 and Wrecking Crew which aren't as desirable but welcome surprises :)

Latest interesting pickups:

I'm now over 800 games for the Famicom, slowly working towards that loose cart set.

Nice Finds!  I keep meaning to get a Moon Crystal loose but it's right up there in the price range :D  Which is the Paaman game, is that the one that came with the tablet?

It's the "other" tablet game that teaches you hiragana, not the pack-in.

Ahh - is it a rare one?  I have the tablet and wouldn't mind picking this up as well, if I could.

Anpanman, not Paaman.  ;D  Like Joe said, it's the second Oeka Kids game that uses the tablet. Seems to be harder to find than the first one.

Have you actually used the tablet? From what I saw of the other game, it was kind of like Mario Paint.

I didn't ever use my tablet - I found a new old stock one and wanted to keep it pristine.  I saw one other for sale after that, but I passed.  From videos it looks like the kind of thing I'd muck about with once then never again haha.

That's what I did with mine.  It works pretty well, but you have to press down very hard on the tablet for it to register.

I found this one recently, quite by accident actually:

I find this cartridge very cool, for many reasons.  This is a bootleg version (not repro, mind you), which had been manufactured most likely in the mid 1990s.  You can see the fake game rating on the cart, and also the pirates tried to make the game look like a Super Nintendo release (not Super Famicom), even has a "Made in Mexico" written on the bottom left.

Ironically enough, I had just watched a video on this game, courtesy of Protoman, I recommend checking it out if you haven't already:

I didn't even make the connection that the game I picked up was the same as the one I had just heard about on Protoman's channel, until I got it home and did some research.

Magical pop'n is my favorite of all time next to famicom splatterhouse. Good score! Bought magical pop'n about 8 years ago for $80 best  investment ever.

Just received this one today.

I already had the Idea Tek original release, but I had never seen the Micro Genius re-release for sale anywhere, the the last five or six years, putting it as one of the 40 or so unlicensed games that I am still trying to find.

I stumbled upon F15 City War Micro Genius version online, but it was only available to local people.  I tried to use my savvy Chinese skills to obtain the cartridge, but I ultimately failed, due to bureaucratic bullshit.  So I had to invoke the help of my girlfriend.  I am not sure her relationship to games; it is obvious that she has some familiarity with them (she kicked my ass at many fighters we had played, also did quite well with Mario, knowing many of the secrets, knows and likes Rockman, etc), but when I first met her, she told me she thought games were a waste of time.  I think she doesn't care about them on the same level as I or anyone else on here does, but at the same time enjoys them more than she wants to admit.  Either way, I asked her for help and she ordered the game for me, then asked me if I wanted to buy any others, almost forcing me to purchase a few more to save on shipping costs.  So I picked out one other Famicom cartridge, and she ordered the pair.

Fast forward to mid-last week; she messaged me at lunch and told me that one of the games was out of stock.  She tried to explain to me in English, but I felt confused, but luckily it seemed as though the Micro Genius cart was the one in stock.  But I was wondering, but at the same time did not want to say too much or make a big deal of it either.

Finally on Friday the cart arrived to my gf, and then I received it today, happy that the F15 City War is the one that was in stock.  :)

Nice! So to cross any doubts, Is it any different to the ET.03 release?

I didn't play any further than the title screen, but from that point, they are the same.  I should give both of them a run later, along with the AVE prototype version I have.
