I've got this one lately :

It's Lion King, The (1995) (Unl) [!] - The Jungle Book hack (CaH4e3 wrote about it)

Haha, that supposed "lion" is a tiger on the title screen :D

umm... yea, but he still is a "king" ;-)

manuel, what's on that cart? we're waiting.

manuel

It's Super mario Bros.

But with the switch to the left (wehn I remember right), the graphics show an unusual glitch that's hard to explain. From the left side of the screen graphics from the far right are shown... I think I should take a video of that. This way Mario can stand in mid-air and can seemingly jump through blocks. It's weird, but interesting.
The label is beautiful, it shines greenish when held into a light source.  :D

What could this one be worth?
Has anybody seen something like that before?

nintendodork

Uhm...Dream Mary perhaps?

Also, got Stack-Up in a pawn shop today..it feels heavy, has 5 screws...and well...it's Stack-Up...
Can I just smash this thing open?  So I can take it's delicious Famicom converting fruits, because I don't have the fancy screwdriver...or is there another less-violent way?

You can scream at it and it might open. Congrats on your find

Don't smash it :P

Try that Pen melting thing for the screws, I hear that works.

Or try to drill the screws away.

Ehh...I may just pry it with a hammer or something..you know?  With the not-blunt side of the hammer

EDIT: Got it open..I sawed off the top hollow part first..but then I unscrewed the other 3 screws with a flathead.. the screws look tiny to me...but if I could get it open with just a regular flathead, apparently that means they've been replaced...

If anyone could point me to a guide (with pictures) on how to modify it to play Famicom games in their shell...that would be much appreciated.. :)

First of all the early NES games used normal flat screws, you didn't need to saw anything.

Using the converter to play Famicom games is really easy. All you have to do is break the tabs off the sides, these were used to secure the converter to the cart shell. I used  set of lock pliers but just about anything will break those things off. Once you get those off take the Stack Up board out and replace with a Famicom cart. The cart has to be backwords just like the Stack Up board. Insert into your NES and play.

You don't have to break the tabs off, you can just flip the converter upside down. No need to damage it.  ;)

I tried that but the tabs still got in the way of my Star Wars cart. I got the Gyromite I found it in for 4 bucks so no big deal breaking the tabs.

nintendodork

So it should look like this? (Minus the tabs on the black part)

I tried putting the converter on the other side of the black box..and it doesn't go in right..
