Famicomman

I'm just curious how good of a deal this is. I'll admit while I know my video game history I don't know a lot about what Famicoms go for or the best way to purchase them online. I know I've been looking for years and just never had the spare cash when I saw them or I was too stingy to pay the shipping costs from Japan. This is just a starter console though.

For an eBay price, that's a clear winner! If you don't mind the cracked case, I think it's a very nice deal. I would have buy it back in the days, when my only source of gaming stuff was eBay.

Famicomman

Thanks, I'm glad I found this site so I can connect with other people with a passion for retro gaming like myself. I've actually been going online by the handle famicomman for over 6 years now because of my love for Nintendo's first foray into the console business, but I never got around to owning one. Now I feel like I have completed a chapter in my life and a new one begins here with buying and trading carts amongst you guys. The closest I ever got before this was owning a 20th Anniversiary GBA Micro with the Famicom Controller faceplate.

It's a nice feeling when you get to pick one up for the first time, after seeing pictures and video of them for so long! Congrats!

Bought this today.

Also I remembered to take some pics of the game store I frequent, the pics are not great as the camera on my phone is shit but you get a good idea of what they have.

Famicomman

Pikkon, what part of Florida is that in? I'm in Georgia and it might be worth a day trip just to go pick up a few things. I mean as long as you don't mind someone else picking through your spot for a day.
