Loose carts and junk packages are quite cheap.. But I can only afford junk... Not beautiful silver boxes... (http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w71451744) :( Instead I spend a lot of time trying to look for finds that are hidden somewhere...
Also, prices go up and down. I'm losing out on all AV Famicoms at the moment...

You know that you can't really make last second snipe on Yahoo....  ::)

Total 1340 yen.  The Famicom was only 210!  One of my better days.

Technically not, but I don't have the time to stay around all time, so when somebody overbids me 5 minutes before the end I usually don't notice it.  :'(

Nice!

Where did you find that, lobdale?  ;D

I finally got an AV Famicom today. These things are expensive these days. :( This one, luckily, only 2500 yen. Comes with controllers and even a box though in terrible condition.

I lose out on 4/5. Who buys them all? I hope it's not someone I know.

I got this also. About half will go to my personal collection.  :D

The games were from a little consignment store in Osaka at a few hundred each, the Famicom was at a bigger Osaka store with some pretty frequently changing inventory.  210 yen for a Famicom in such good shape was too good to pass up (but I still don't have an RF switch to test it with!).

Found a nice copy of Splatterhouse at Hard-Off today.

Wow, lobdale and FredJ, those are some amazing bargains.   ;D  Nice finds.  Actually I saw that one lot with the Famicom Gun, etc on Yahoo Auctions and was tempted to go for it myself.  I don`t have a Yahoo account, but seeing that I almost signed up just to bid on it!

I takez the warez  8) Hope it's not empty boxes there.  Also wonder if I can sell those Family Fitness stuff? Maybe I can get some fool to buy Stadium Event for 200$, adding "WOW RARE" to the title should do it...  :-*

Thanks to a friend  ;) , won this handbill for the unreleased "Emergence of Excalibur" ....This was going to be a 5 disk long FDS title before being cancelled. Only 1750 yen too!!!!!!

That is a really neat find... if anyone is wondering, the kanji is actually "Seiken Densetsu," what would become the eventual Mana series, the first installment on Game Boy (Final Fantasy Adventure in the US) and its more popular big brother, Secret of Mana (SD2).  A very cool pickup.

That looks very nice indeed.  :)
And I'm glad I could be of help.  :bub:

That is awesome.  I love finding stuff for unproduced games.

That reminds me, I need to find some posters for Rockman Dash 3.

That's great!  Manuel, may have to hit you up in future :)
