The most awesome bargain in retro-game shopping history.  I kid you not:

http://famicomblog.blogspot.com/2010/09/retro-game-shopping-will-never-be-same.html

My head is still spinning, my tiny brain unable to cope with the magnitude of my luck in coming across the motherload of retro-gaming junk piles where EVERYTHING - consoles, games, controllers - costs 50 cents no matter how awesome or rare it is.  No other shopping experience in my life will ever compete with it.  I will be telling stories of today's shopping experience well into my old age.

where do you live  ;)

LOL, Fukuoka.  If you hurry the sale is still on!

Either way, that's awesome, especially if you got it for a good price.  I think we're all really eager to see the board!

No it was not a good price, not for me anyway. But if you want something so you have to be prepared to pay

This is the only cartridge I've seen (NES version)

previous owner of this cassette has been featured in a story in a video game newspaper

Tjibynn

have you any picture of how it would look like inside?

Where do you guys find all these pirates?

MS-DOS4

It depends where you live. Places like Hong Kong China and Taiwan will be good places to find pirates being sold at street vendors. I live in the US and so finding pirates in the wild is extremely difficult, although I've seen a few. If you live in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, whatever, I'd suggest you do what I do and stick to this forum and ebay. Boring multicarts are all over ebay but they're overpriced. Here you will find vendors selling interesting multicarts and cool single game pirates at good prices.

Make contacts in other countries. Knowing other languages is always a plus too, lots of people aren't aware it can help in finding the right people for pirates :P

That's right, a good friend to have is MWK. Occasionally he'll make a sell thread with lots of cool pirates to buy. Be on the lookout for MWK!

I live in the US too.  I've actually found a few pirates at the flea market I frequent.  I found a Power Joy-008, and three gameboy multicarts.  I just bought one today actually.  For some reason when I bought that I had this urge to buy a huge lot of famicom pirates.

I'm probably going to make a WTB thread soon.
