Thanks!   I am DEFINITELY going to give this a try, do you just create drawings using NES spec restrictions (I've done a couple mockups before)?

OK - gotcha I see it's all outlined in the thread.  Genuinely really excited about this!  I also subscribed to your YouTube channel, you got yourself a fan.

Thank you =)
And please post your work here. I'd love to see your mockups becoming reality :)

If you need a hand to use this software just let me know!

Here's something I made a few years back for a mockup comp on a pixel art thread, should correlate to in-game NES/famicom spec, but easily doable as a still:

What took time was checking all the tiles.  If I can use that program it'll be much easier.

Whoa! Amazing mockup (I love ThunderCats too).
You'll see this program works better with title screens and big drawings (like Tygra's face). With small characters and in-game mockups it's still a little problematic.
But I'll love to see the conversion results anyway! :)

Isn't the last one actually Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing on the Mega Drive? ;)

"Boxing" uses Evander's sprites from Mega Drive but I guess it's a different game.
The "Push Start Button" font seems to be the same from Aladdin by the way...

AWESOME

Thank you! =D
By the way any news on your ThunderCats conversions?

L___E___T

No news I'm afraid, my PC died so I haven't had a chance to do anything on it :)

By the way - I preferred the blurry style images that you posted earlier on, what causes the difference can I ask?

Oh, sorry about your computer. If you want I can try to convert your Thundercats mockups to .NES files.

I used to resize my screencaps using bilinear filtering (they looked less pixelated).
Now I'm not using any filters anymore to let people analyze these pictures more accurately.

A comparision between these two resize methods:
