I have a famicom and super famicom set of books, I'd really like to pick up a Virtual Boy and Gameboy equivalent(s).

I might still get that list anyway though!

Card Hero is one of the few games with a 5-star rating on the Japanese 3DS Virtual Console.

New stuff including a Konami Hyper Boy for the original GB.

I've seen the Hyper Boy several times but never thought it worth it.

It's nice to see your games.  ;D

Do you have all the Rockman World games?

Yup I've got all the Rockman GB games CIB. I only collect in CIB form.

All those games above and the Hyper Boy just came in the mail this afternoon.

Hmm, I also have Bomberman Gb 3, but in a tin can.

I once considered collecting tin can games but they are not that easy to find. I have three so far, and the last one I have is "Vol. 8". Don't know how many there are.

There are quite a few tin can games. I think I have 6 or 7 (some dupes). Nothing really special actually. They're not really that hard to find if you really want them. I usually pass on them unless it's just too good of a deal.

Nice GB haul!

I have a boxed and minty Hyperboy too - I think it's great actually, but rather than give it regular use, I want to make a 'proper' Gameboy, Famicom, Super Famicom and VirtualBoy arcade unit in the Summer.  Still not fully decided on what kit to use,  thinking of building it around a Wii, but a PC might be better.  Actually, if anyone has specific suggestions, I could use them.

Spoiler
Try the Hyperboy with a backlit Gameboy - it's great when you disable the light on it (The Hyperboy)!

That would be a cool project. Are you going for a full size arcade cabinet or a tabletop/bartop unit?

I would vote for a PC. It would imho be easier and much, much more flexible as to what it can do. Anyways if you want to play, you can emulate Wii on the PC via the Dolphin emulator.

I'm collecting them for play on my Super Game Boy.
Mostly puzzlers.  All non-language barrier.
My fave is Mole Mania.  I've got Kirby 2 en route from Japan.
I think I'd like one of the Final Fantasy games, US version.   Msg me if you have any Japanese GB.   :help:
FCGamer set me up with nine cartridges from Hong Kong for a great price.  Good seller!

I can vouch for fcgamer. A while ago I was also set up with a nice lot of gameboy unlicensed games for a great price. They were sold as non working or junk but after some cleaning, mostly all them work without a hitch. I have also bought games sold as new old stock and once again great prices. That doesn't include the freebie games I got a few times throughout basically a year when I bought solely off of him. All in all, one of the most trusted sellers.

I also love Japanese Game Boy stuff - in fact, as I type this I just got done playing Ninja Ryuukenden GB. Here's a shot of my collection, including GBC and GBA.

My favorites = Ninja Ryuukenden GB (of course), both Contras, both Bonks, Sumo Fighter, Super Mario Land 2, Castlevania II, and Wario Land. Oh and Wario Land 4 for GBA too... one of the few games I consider to be nearly perfect.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

Japanese GB games are sweet. I'm glad this thread was revived so I could look through everyone's collections. Cool stuff. I love Japanese GB boxes a lot.

That said, I only have two myself. Both complete. I'm a huge fan of both series. I used to be far more into collecting than I am now, but I'm always open to finding new gems.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat
