Will that TV accept the glorious RGB from a modded nes or famicom and display it fully?

Thanks!

Hamburglar

Yes, those monitors are great. My Sony RGB monitor has the same connector, I made a 21 pin RGB to 25 pin  cable and use all  my RGB consoles on it. If I remember correctly those even have S-video.

famiac

Yeah i noticed all most all sony PVMs have some sort of rgb or that weird 8 pin video camera connector. VTR connector, thats what it is.

Already read the manual a while ago. As well as the manuals of 50 other tvs hahaha. I just wanted to confirm.

Does the input of a tv that is RGB/Component differ from when using rgb on a tv with just an rgb input? i was wondering about quality differences since using rgb out is better on a retro console than using component out?

Thanks

Drakon

Is rgb better than component?

famiac

Yeah. I read that rgb is better than component on older consoles.

I thought they were basically the same thing.
