Hello. Does anybody know about proper game box opening methods and storage? I have some virtual boy and gameboy advanced boxes that have the top flap always going upward a little and it ruins the whole box image for me.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Thanks

I know that a LOT of NES guys that go CIB will open the box with a knife by sliding it under the flap to open it without creasing.  Then they use a box protector to but the IB in and leave the cart out if they play them regularly.  Otherwise most of those dudes will just leave them CIB check 'em once to see that they work and rebox them put them in the box protectors and just use their power pak.

I personally leave my CIB NES games out of the boxes and store the boxes but I don't care for paper just plastic and pcbs!  ;D

I have nothing against preserving vintage cardboard but it just depends on what route you want to take.

Im a bit hesitant on the knife idea. But i guess ill just keep the games out then. Ha. But the annoying flap is still there. Can anything be done about it?
