I see there are a few people here who have been playing the pokemon games on various platforms so i thought i would make a thread where we can share our silly adventures with pokemons and trade friendcodes and such if need be

YESSSS I love Pokemon! I just finished my new team in Black, and I really want to try it (surprisingly, most of the Pokemon are from generation 1).  I may finally reveal my friend code after all these months of Manuel begging for it.

I'm also currently making a team in Crystal, as I want to get through the rest of Pokemon Stadium 2, and I also have a few friends who are playing 2nd gen as well.

So, what is a palpad, friendcode, and do you play all those games on the original hardware?   
I'm so clueless. I only sell the games, lol.

The Pal Pad is an in-game item that allows you to save other friend codes, and a friend code is sort of like a Gamertag or Playstation Network name, but for Nintendo hardware.

What do you mean when you ask if we play them on original hardware?

Do you play Crystal on game boy color or advance?
Or is it some form of emulator, virtual console.... whatever you kids do these days.

Oh, yes, I always play Pokemon on original hardware (except for the occasional ROM hack on either an emulator or my R4). Especially the old games like Crystal! I still use the lime green Game Boy Color I got for Christmas when I was 4 (I'm 17). So nostalgic.

I've just started playing pokemon white so i'm not up to having a friend code with it yet (I'm playing on a DS lite because i'm poor and it plays the advance pokemons still that can be ported to some of the newer games) Is anyone playing soul silver or heart gold??

I haven't played in awhile, but I should still have a team on there! I'll get around to posting my HeartGold friend code sometime. Let me know when you get further in White!
