Who cares about the game.  That breakfast commercial rules!

It actually started as an NES homebrew game (Grand Theftendo), but eventually morphed into Retro City Rampage.

That Guy from Faxanadu

I think it looks amazing. Will definitly buy it when it comes to Wii.

What's wrong with both a homebrew and a pc version?

NintendoKing

It's okay to have both but no homebrew is coming, just pc version.

Excuse me just because he wants to put food on his plate doesn't make him a "dick".  I've been called a "dick" because I wanted to warn people about the risk before posting how to do my mods and that sh#t isn't cool.  I don't blame this guy at all for what he did.  If the money was in making nintendo repros he would, but it's not.  That's why I didn't care so much about being banned from nintendoage.  Most of my money comes from people who find me from youtube.  People on nintendoage Don't have money, And they call me a dick!  Why would someone want to cater to an angry forum troll like yourself when they can make way more money catering to people with manners.

Instert Rant Here.

This and all of this.  Economy sucks around the world.  If you can make money while having fun doing it, do it!  I totally support the guy for "selling out" as you said if it helps him  in his career path.
I don't know how to fox. D:

Don't bring your sob stories about modding here, angry guy. And you know, instead of relying on money from your crappy online work, you can do what most of the world does for money: get an actual job. Get off your butt-moulded computer chair and make an effort to work somewhere. But have fun getting your pennies from everyday online ordeals.

Don't get angry at me because you were made fun of on the internet. Bottom line is, Bri started off doing a great favor to lots of online developers with his original work. As soon as some small-time company showed him the green, he decided to spit on the developers' faces by destroying all his past work (every trace of it), ignoring them and pretending it never existed. Go money!

Drakon what got you banned from NA?  You can be blunt sometimes but I think it's clear to most of us here, you're a genuine guy.

I think if a creator chooses to make something, it's his call how he shares that.  I would love a nES hjomebrew but in all honesty PC and XBL version allow for more reach, more opportunities in the game and an easier pipeline.

I also don't think people should be blamed for not wanting to work for free.

It's not Retro City Rampage that many people are worked up over when it comes to him. He can make it for whatever money he wants; it's how his attitude changed and how he so abruptly buried his past work without even notification once he was offered money for one of his works.

L___E___T

Sounds like he was asked to do that and also asked not to speak about it as part of the terms.  Frustrating sure, but if that was the deal I wouldn't be able to blame him I don't think.
