russian post are doing the same unless you pack the package into strong cardboard with a lot of bubble wrap and newspaper inside.  ;D

80sFreak packs things well, they must have run over it with a forklift or something.

Your best bet would be to find a broken super fami on ebay and just gut it.

Superglue! I superglued a broken piece back onto my Super Famicom, as mine arrived like that awhile back also.

I'm sure if you look around for a while you can find a broken system. No idea if this guy still has one, but he was trying to sell this one at one time:

If you are in Europe it's easy. Get a PAL SNES and replace the case. I think the plastic whith SUPER FAMICOM text can be replaced, also the dark grey plastic.

GohanX

That's true, I used a PAL SNES to repair the casing of my Super Famicom as well. The case is identical, except that the name plate says Super Nintendo instead of Super Famicom (that piece can be swapped.)

Question
What the heck is that detachable SHVC-SOUND part? Because of that my SFC mothervoarb doesn't fit in the new Super Famicom case lmao

Your going to have to mod the case a bit inside for it to fit properly.
