"FAMICOM" license plate?

I just wanted to see what everyone thought of this:

I was recently curious about the history of license plates for my state and remembered that you can get a custom one and was thinking of some things and went "I wonder if FAMICOM is available?!" and it ended up being there! Yeah, it does cost money to get it but.. I was thinking what do you guys think of it? Stupid idea or awesome idea?

I've considered getting vanity plates since they're a lot cheaper in PA than they are in NJ.  I was considering getting "NES-6502", since it follows the state's typical numbering scheme.  I like that it would be subtle, as I don't want people to constantly ask me about my license plate :P

How much is it there? I think it's $50 here. Not bad, even though I already pay them 90 for registration every year lol

UglyJoe

$20, as far as I can tell from the DMV website.

I just bought a car yay me! I was looking to do that for my car but sadly they only offered six letters so it would come out as Famico :( I was thinking of using FCGame or maybe FC1983 but man I wanted famicom ....maybe I should just do it AWAAAA !!!

Hmm...six characters...could do HVC-001, the FC's product code.

If the general license plate numbers do letters than numbers then you can't do that. Also, probably can't do the dash.

That's crazy. Custom plates in Iowa are only $15.

Yeah, living in Washington can be expensive at times.

Lucky Americans. In my state here in AUS they're $455.

MWK

Yeah, here in Poland it's also about $300

:o That's bananas! Is there any reason as to why they're so expensive?

Nope; because we're Australian we're somehow obligated to pay more. But comparing basically anything American to the Australian value, if it's in Australia it will go much higher. Trust me, it's annoying. Worse is when I see Americans complaining about how expensive living is, such as game price. They're roughly $60 there on release? Well $119 here. :P Other things are like petrol, while it's hard to compare since we use different measurements, ours is roughly 3x more expensive than the average American price.

I had a similar idea for the car I used to own back in Germany. I came from Hannover, so the first letter had to be an "H". I was living on the countryside of the H-area, so there would have to be 2 more letters and 4 numbers.

Here's what I did (I wasn't into Famicom back then or else it would've been HVC for sure)!

Is that geeky or what  ;D 8)

I'd love to do something like this after my next move.  I didn't bother with them in IL because I'm only living here for a relatively short period of time.  I'm moving again in 2 years, so in my new state I'll probably do something fun with the car plates  ;D.
