What's wrong with FDS emulation on the Powerpak?

The emulation of the FDS's extra audio channel is inaccurate and it also doesn't support multi-disk games.

MarioMania

I hope the Famicom Everdrive work with Famiclone like the Super 8

I put an order in, this will be great for playing translations/hacks/homebrews without having to mod carts to make repros or resort to emulators.

I stays with real carts  ::)

I am a greedy man, I want both carts and this everdrive  ;D ;D ;D ;D

L___E___T

Do you think I should wait for the entire cart or some special deluxe version?/ I don't want to miss the batch...
Oh, I missed this:

Will there be a Deluxe Edition?

Yes we are working on a Deluxe Edition. We will eventually take back orders once we have mock-ups available for the public to view. We want buyers to know what they are getting before back ordering. We expect price of Deluxe Edition to be around $175 give or take.

If you want Deluxe Edition we suggest waiting for back order. Most of the boards we ordered will be reserved for Deluxe Edition.

I sold my PowerPak yesterday and used the cash to buy an Everdrive-N8, really looking forward to it!

Tricky

Krikzz is selling them from his own store http://shop.retrogate.com/EverDrive-N8-Famicom-ver-EDN8.htm Available now, no backorder. I paid yesterday, it got dispatched today.

MarioMania

and then SAG won't sell just the Famicom Shells

I'm buying PCB only

Zero107

Whoa, is this the Famicom's first flashcart? Gonna order mine on Saturday! Now, what cartridge shell to put the PCB in...
I'll probably die surrounded by plastic crap.

Should I get one with USB or not?

I just lumped for one with the USB and the flashcard.  I really want the deluxe version, but guessing they'll sell out so quick, no chance am I missing out here.

Let's get on label designs!

There deluxe editions are expensive for what you get unless he's going to have some sort of clear cart or something crazy it doesn't seem worth it. I do like his TG16/Pc Engine deluxe set but only for that cool orange case it comes with but all the others models not so much.

I guess Stone age as to get some sort of profit out of it. I'm sure he doesn't make anything crazy just selling the bare PCB's

L___E___T

I ordered my PCB direct from Krikkz.
I'll stump up for the deluxe edition when it's out as well because I think it will be a nice special, but the PCB I ordered earlier is what will get most use, mainly for FDS.

I'm thinking really hard selling Bonk on the NES for this

From one of the threads on Stone Age Gamer's facebook

" I don't have one to tell you, but from what KRIKzz told me it fits in Nintendo style shell. If you look up original Adventure Island for Famicom, that type of shell it should fit in."

So wonder what kind of cheapy famicom games have the same type of shell as the original Adventure Island?
