Report from me:
Sometimes the notifications come right away, but often they are delayed up to 1 day.
I visit FW several times a day anyway, so it's no problem for me.

By the way I use the German email provider GMX.

about a month ago I stopped being able to receive notifications.

Ugh.  Freakin' Hotmail is blocking our email server again.  I'll see what I can do.

Me too, I thought it was because I took my e-mail address off my profile.

Could his be to do with the Outlook switch?  Hotmail is now on Outlook so maybe they changed something.  Hotmail addresses all work the same etc.

My notifications have also been hit-or-miss over the last couple of weeks, and I'm on Yahoo.

Has this been looked in to more? I still can't get notifications.

UglyJoe

There's not a lot that I can do about it.

The mail server that we're using is the only one available to us.  It works.  It always sends out email notifications.

The problem is that some destination mail servers decide to block the server for whatever reason.  I have no control over those destination servers.

All that I can do is report the error messages to our web host, who then has to get the hosts of the destination mail servers to unblock our mail server.  Obviously, our host has no real control over the destination servers, either.  All they can really do is fill out some online forms to petition to get unblocked.

So, it ends up in a cycle like this.  Some mail server (like Hotmail) blocks our mail server.  I tell our host about it.  The host tells Hotmail about it.  Then we wait for an indeterminate amount of time.  Then maybe Hotmail eventually unblocks us.  Then we wait for an indeterminate amount of time.  Then Hotmail blocks us again.

Do you still use the e-mail address you have set up in your profile?  They route through that, so it's the first thing to check.  When I originally stopped receiving them it's because I had a dud e-mail address in there.
