Super Mario 64. It's been a while since I played through this so I figured I might as well. ;)

I played a couple hours more of Wario's Woods today. I got a Gold Medal in the Hard Time Trials, so I'm finished with that whole section of the game. But I'm still sucking at the last few stages of both Game A and B.

@nightstar

Really, you struggle with the bosses in Wario's Woods? I've beaten 8 of the 9 I've faced on the first try. The first boss killed me the first time I fought it, but only because I didn't realize it would teleport and kill you if it respawned on top of me. I offed the bastard on the second try. I almost think the B Game is easier than the A game because of the pud bosses. But those last five levels are just tough as hell. You have to be blazing fast, and you're pretty much doomed if you make a mistake in the first minute or two.

More Castlevania III: Wow, I didn't think they'd seriously reuse enemies & make me fight them one after another. :upsetroll: Seriously douchebag move there; it's starting to get really monotonous.

Seriously, now I'm not sure if I even want to play it a second time. :-\

I played some B-Game Wario's Woods (NES) this afternoon, trying to beat the final phase of the game and claim total completion. I actually beat stage 98 for the first time, and faced the final Wario boss. And... he killed me. I was immobilized by that squatting while a bomb goes off deal, and he teleported right on top of me for an instant kill. Bastard! I'll try again tomorrow.

I'm going to take another poke at Ninja Crusaders (NES) before bed tonight. I played that yesterday, and reached 5-2 (which was a little better than my first playthrough last week).

More addicting than I expected.

I played Ninja Crusaders (NES) before bed. I reached the final boss, but only took down his first form before he ended my last life. Sure, there are infinite continues, but I'd had enough of cursing at the TV for one day. Tough game! I'll pick it up again today.

I am proud! I think it'll take you a few tries before you get the hang of his second form's pattern... let me know if you want some help with that.

The difficulty is wicked in this game, to the point that memorizing the enemies is practically essential. This would be a fun game to play with two players, but I haven't had the opportunity yet. I think I actually like the katana best as far as weapons go. It's hard to hit the more erratic enemies with it, but it's so satisfying to kill enemies with one hit and bosses with two.

And to think, I've not even been using all the controls in the game! I read the reviews for it on GameFAQs, and I only then discovered that the ninja has a shape-shifting ability. I don't have a manual for my copy (yet), and I'm so frantic while playing, so how was I supposed to know that I could turn into an animal avatar by holding the attack button down for three seconds? I'm going to try to reach the final boss with the sword, and then turn into the dragon to kick his ass. That'd be a pretty dramatic end, I think. (Almost like Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, but without the terrible acting.)

Oh wow... good luck with that, my friend. I'll have to try the same, sometime. I usually stick with the spear, but for the final stage I grab the shuriken in the beginning, then I grab the kusarigama before the final boss. The transformations are some of the coolest aspects of Ninja Crusaders.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf. According to the 3DS Activity Log, I've spent 164 hours on it so far (since 6/9/13). I have no life!  :help:

I am a big Nintendo fan! especially GameBoy, N64, SFC, GC. And of course Mario games
I collect SFC/N64 mainly. Some rare famicom stuff too. Also miscellaneous video game stuff.

I messed around with Sonic 2 and gunstar heroes a bit before bed last night.
