Still working on Bee 52 (NES). I managed to beat the 12 "front door" levels, but died on the second "back door" level. The levels aren't that much more difficult, but they do decide to screw with you and and make it harder to control your bee on whichever set of levels you play second. Grr.

Today i've played Fallout: New Vegas (PC), cool game!

Dammity damn damn! I just wiped out on stage 20 of Bee 52. I got screwed by the spawn point, which isn't so bad when the controls are favorable in the first loop. I wound up dying less than ten seconds into the level, as I lurched into the large fly as soon as I spawned and bounced off the vines until I ran into a gnat and was killed off. Goodbye, upgrades! Apparently, you have to lean hard on the right D-pad arrow to pull back just enough to miss that large fly, but I won't be trying this again for hours. An hour and a half of gameplay down the drain. The physics changes in the second loop are just tedious!

I recommend Hagane on SNES.
World of computer games is my natural environment.

I've heard good things about Hagane. I've been wanting a copy, but I haven't had the bucks to spend on one lately. Someday...

I played a couple games of NES Play Action Football. I played the crap out of this in middle school, and I'm trying to power through it quickly for the NA Challenge. Four games down, three more to go to win the "Power Bowl." (No NFL license...)

Get the much cheaper Super Famicom version instead. Most of my higher priced non-RPGs (i.e. games that don't need me to read) are for the Super Famicom instead. I can own Aero Wings (aka Sonic Wings) and Hagane for a fraction of what they would cost me if I were to get the US release.

I picked up a copy of Star Wars Episode 1 pod racer for the Nintendo 64. I have been playing that lately.its a half decent racing game.

Half-decent huh, I thought it was exceptional.

I'm still trying to beat Pilot Wings (snes) at the moment. It's so laid back, yet very intense, and I've never been a big fan of flight simulator type stuff but I just can't stop playing this one. Trying to distract myself till March when Pier Solar should release for the Dreamcast. Been dying to play that game for like forever but I kept missing the reprints of it on the Genesis, and I've heard it's pretty much one of the best 16 bit rpgs ever made. =)

I thought it was terrible. Just un-fun and boring with drab colors. I love my racers, but SW Ep 1 Pod doesn't do a thing for me.

Tonight, I played a bit of Super Turrican and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! on the NES and Akumajou Densetsu on FC. I had a friend over, so we were just jumping around pretty casually between games.

Secret Ties (NES reproduction). It's kind of a shame that this one didn't get published, as I find it very enjoyable.

Bee 52 (NES)

I picked it back up, after not  playing it in nearly a week. Unfortunately, I was rusty and wiped out on stage 11. I've got more work to do before I can finish this one for the Nintendo Age challenge.
