You are an animal.

I've been playing Mother on GBA, it has some recommended improvements over the Famicom version.  Liking it so far.

True! Evidently, a prehistoric beast, as I went straight to Tatakae Genshijin 2 after DinoCity. Also gave that one a nice run, but it's a lot easier.

Currently contemplating what I'll play when I'm home in a half hour... I'm thinking Super Ninja Kun.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

I played a little bit more of Adventures of Lolo 3 (NES) tonight. After beating Dragon Warrior II, I moved into first place in the NA challenge, so now my focus turns to beating more games to build up and protect my lead.

Decided against Super Ninja Kun... instead, I decided to put my skills to the test this evening. Completed the following:

Super Castlevania IV (Super Famicom, one continue used, unfortunately)
Castlevania (NES, no continues)
Ninja Gaiden (Famicom, no continues)

A note about my Castlevania 1CC: I honestly believe it would have been a no-death run, but I got fucked over HARD by a weapon drop in stage four. That god damn skeletal dragon dropped the worthless dagger, when I was saving the Holy Water for an easy kill against Frankenstein. And, like a chump, I walked right into it without thinking, completely blowing my perfect run. At least I took out Frank on my second try, so I didn't burn too many lives over it. Let that be a lesson for any other Castlevania players, watch out. Random weapon-drops are your worst enemy in that game.

I played a little bit of Donkey Kong (NES). I picked up a copy of the black box version for a friend a few days ago, and I just tested it to make sure it worked. Wound up playing through about three loops.

I've been playing The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles (NES) the last couple of nights. I've gotten to the final boss, but it keeps kicking my ass. Now, I think I'll do a little more of Adventures of Lolo 3 (NES). (Naturally, they're both games that still need to be beaten for the NA challenge.)

I've mostly just been playing Dota 2 recently :v

I've taken a couple of cracks at the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES). It's not as terrible as many people seem to think it is, but it is very hard. I have actually killed the Technodrome boss on my first try both times, but that last stage inside it is brutal.

Megaman 2. It is, in my opinion, the best Megaman game in the series.

L___E___T

It is!  A masterpiece!  Though I really like Megaman 8 as well.  I know most people don't.

I am playing through Dragon Quest 2, just found the princess of Moonbrook and am levelling her up, other guys are at 10 and 12, she's only on 3...

Don't worry, LET. She'll never actually catch up with them level-wise, but she'll grow up just the same. At one point in my game shortly before I beat it, she actually had more EXP than either of the princes but was still eight levels lower than them.

I started Batman Returns (NES) this morning. I'm enjoying it, but I got stuck on the Penguin's Duck Carrier boss at the end of Stage 5. I took my password, and I'll try again later.
