Long story short I don't have my N64 power brick and I'd like to spend as little to get it working again, what are my choices?

I bought a Superpad 64 controller as I hate the official controller.  :P

P

Your best bet is probably to find an official replacement AC adapter. They shouldn't be hard to come by.

They're DIRT cheap locally for me (like 1-5 bucks, tops).  That's what I'd go with.

Here the oldest console stuff they sell locally is GameCube and Original Xbox, anything before that it's phased out. In UK, btw.

No thrift stores or the like?

Nope.

Even if they did they would have rip-off prices because it's "retro" and "rare". I'll just search the web, anywho.

Ah, gotcha.

Are you on FB?  There are a lot of cool retro collector pages, many of which have a LOT of members in the UK and EU.  I can send you some links.  I'm sure there are folks with extras sitting around.
