Hey guys, This is the first famicom game I have ever owned.
I found it at a thrift shop and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it.
I know literally nothing about famicom collecting and would love to know what it is called and what it is worth etc.
The cart is purple with the picture from the mario famicom cart on it. on the bottom of the picture it says 'whirlwind manu". On the top left corner of the cart it says 'LB-35'.
Thanks,
Harry  ;D

Okay, so the Japanese on it says:

"cassette" (This is what carts were/are referred to as in Japan.)
"video game"

This doesn't help much. However, the art appears to be from the Super Mario Bros Famicom cart.
BUT
The OFFICIAL SMB cart is YELLOW.

So, my guess? A pirate cart that may or may not contain SMB. Or perhaps a hacked copy of SMB.

Got a machine to test it on? One you know what's on it, then it's a lot easier to guess value etc.

Edit: My spelling is terrible.

I don't unfortunately.
Are clone carts usually worth anything?

It REALLY comes down to what's on the cart....9/10 times it's not worth a lot, at least in my experience.

VinylDracula

its a cheap  pirate of super mario bros.

VinylDracula

maybe $3-4 or less... its a cheap pirate, not a significant hack...people would rather have the official cart.

Dang  :P
I was hoping it would be worth something.
Thanks for responding.
