We had a similar thread about Rock Man at our old forum: HERE. I don't remember which I picked back then. I'm fond of them all. I like a level or two from each one. I'd have to go with either 4 or 5 because of cool levels in those, like that one where you get to walk on the ceiling. I don't like 1, just because I've only played it once.

Come to think of it, I hate 5 because of Gravity Man. :P What you said, JC. But 5 is pretty much my favorite because of all the cool music, especially Napalm Man. :)

What's the Rock Man with the level where you shoot an enemy and the screen goes black, you shoot another enemy and the screen lights up again? That's a cool level. :D

I know exactly which one you're talking about, too. I think it's 3?

Anyhow, I don't really know what mine would be. I think 3 has my favorite level design, but I like 5's bosses best. And there isn't really one I strongly dislike, so...let's go with 4. That's the one that had 'Dr. Cossack' as the main villian, correct?

Unless the X series is included, then my least favorite is X5-X7.  ;D

At first I thought you were talking about Quick Man's stage in Mega Man 2 that had those flame bowl robots, but then realized you could be talking about Shadow Man's stage in Mega Man 3 that has those illusion devices that makes the whole stage appear as stars, but now I realize you're talking about Bright Man's stage in Mega Man 4 that has those light bulb robots & those firework walking things. :P Capcom really tried messing with you.  But I'm disappointed in how that was done - if you destroy just one of those things when there are others on the screen, everything still turns dark. :-\

Yeah, that's it...Bright Man. Cool stage nonetheless.

And if I got to pick the worst boss it would be the train dude. He's just a strange thing to see. :P

Charge Man? I think he's a riot. He looks like a half-assed Transformer.

Does anybody know if Plant Man was really a contest winner's design?  In Game History class, someone said they knew the person (or knew the person of the person) who created it for a contest, but wasn't credited in the game or something. :-\

My favourite Mega Man is definitely Nr. 3.
Just because it was the first NES game I bought by myself.  ;)

Least favourite is part 4. Don't know why, I just don't seem to like it.

That's what I heard as well, but you know how rumors go...

Wikipedia states that the two contest designs were Knight Man (Canada) & Wind Man (USA), but that's Wikipedia. :-\
