You guys better be picking some good ones.   I'll need to check some of these out when the anime convention I'm at starts at noon.  I've already been to the dealer room and there's boxes and boxes of stuff.  I might be able to find some DVDs or something...

For comedy, I like Shin-Chan and Sgt. Frog.  For actual anime, I guess Neon-Genesis Evangelion and Death Note.  I don't watch a whole lot of it.

If you are looking for something interesting, Angel beats - series is cool, and pretty new (2010) so the animation is worth seeing.

There's a ton more but the list would go on for a while, lol.  I've been watching anime for about 10 years now, and now I've gotten my wife into it so I can go back and rewatch shows I've seen with a fresh perspective (along with watching new ones I might have otherwise skipped).  So far it's been a lot of fun.  Right now we're almost done with Evangelion, and next we're probably going to watch the first season of the original Dragonball.  Should be a good time .

Oh, and English voice actors still suck for the most part.  It took me a long time to talk my wife into watching shows with subtitles on, lol.  Now she prefers it, too.  I had only seen Evangelion in the dubbed version before, and watching it in Japanese is a very different experience.  Shinji actually comes off as a much more stable boy than the English voice actor makes him out to be.

ALSO, if ANYONE has the URUSEI YATSURA boxsets from Animeigo, please PM me!  I've been looking for them for a while and would love to pick them up (especially the earlier sets).
