I would if I didn't have a sucky connection, it would take all week to get that.. :-\

Yeah... reminds me of the time I was torrenting Fallout 3 for two days and then it didn't work with my graphics card.

Anyone ever watch "He's my Master ?!" ?

if you haven't... you should!

...if you think you'll enjoy a show that's nothing but gratuitous fan service :P

Um.

I think Neon Genesis Evangelion is the best anime I've ever watched. And the movie. I know Tyler and John have heard me obsessing over it for forever. Anyone else here watch it?

UglyJoe

I watched it a while ago.  I've been meaning to rewatch it, but the DVDs never go on sale.

nintendodork

I watched the movie.  It's amazing.  I haven't watched the series in a really long time, so I don't really know any of the characters, but it was still amazingly awesome.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Yeah. The movie is just the amazing conclusion to the psychological odyssey of the original series.

(NOT A HINT)

But I do recommend the original series. It's not too long, and is amazing. It manages to be way more sophisticated and thought-provoking than other animes, behind the whole "GIGANTIC MECH" facade.

I don't know that I'd call it "sophisticated and thought-provoking".  Personally, that's how I'd describe a good dramatic anime.  Eva is a mindfuck anime.  It exists just to confuse the viewer as much as possible.  It gets you talking and theorizing, sure, but it doesn't mean anything in the end.

Nightstar699

There are some animes I like. My top 3:
1. BoBoBo BoBoBoBo
2. Crayon Shinchan
3. Super Milk Chan

I like funny anime. ;D
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

My top 5 series in no particular order:

-  Guyver 2005
-  Freedom
-  Bubblegum Crisis + AD Police
-  Testsuwan Atom
-  Megazone 23 (OVA)

I like robots, ninjas and monsters!

You're probably right, but I've only seen like five series in their entirety, most of which were mindless shonen anime.

I didn't like Evangelion at all personally.  I though the Patlabor movies and Shirow Masamune creations were much more elevated.

I saw the Jin Roh movie (Mamoru Oshii) recently and was really taken with it.

I haven't watch animae in over a year... what's wrong with me? I guess collection Famicom games have detracted me.

UglyJoe

I'm slowly working my way through Hyakko.  Also started watching Robotech: The Macross Saga on Hulu, which is apparently a strange combination of three different Japanese series blended into one.

nintendodork

I'm gonna buy My Neighbor Totoro next time I go to this otaku store in Omaha.  It seems really comical, and even though I found the movie online, it has an ugly watermark, and it's in Swedish. >_>
