Anyone own any of the really rare famicom variations?

Like the sharp titler or that one that was built as a tv combo unit?

Just curious.

Nope, can't justify the expense on something that whilst incredibly cool, still only plays Famicom games. :)

I have a fami twin & keyboard/basic set, that's about as exotic as I get.

The Titler doesn't really do it for me, and the Sharp TV's with built in Famicoms cost a fortune to ship, let alone the purchase price. I know a couple of people with them and when they break down, which they do, they are expensive and difficult to repair.

I have a Sharp FamicomStation, but I suppose they're not uber rare.
It's up for grabs if anyone is interested.

How's the picture quality though?

AV out on my twin is fantastic, and whilst the Titler does have native s-video, it's not as drastic a leap from composite as RGB. I know the Titler can be modded for RGB, but that's not the point as I could also mod any of my Famicom systems for RGB if I really wanted to.

What about the built in TVs? (You said you knew people who had them)
