This's a project I was commissioned to build.

This wasn't as easy as I expected.  Apparently arcade rgb is about 4x as strong as scart or home use rgb so I needed to build an amp that would bring the levels up enough.

The rgb from the ppu first passes through a sony cxa2075 circuit for a couple of reasons.  The cxa2075 amps the signals up to home standard strength and it also converts the signal into perfect looking s-video.  The rgb from the ppu stays crisp when passing through this encoder circuit at close range.

Anyway here's the rgb amp I wound up using to get the rgb up to arcade strength:

What's great about this adapter is it uses normal plugs for the console.  The power comes from the 12v line on the jamma connector and connects to the console using the regular power jack at the back.  The AV signals connect through a modified scart cable that just plugs into the snes multi av port built into the back of the av famicom.  When I build the controllers they'll connect through the regular controller ports.
