Super Dodgeball problem

I bought this cart for the whopping sum of 1 cent and I'm having problems.


First off, the side of the cart looks like a lighter got to it (or perhaps a kid left it next to a space heater?), and one of the tabs holding it together is broken


Insides look ok, I don't know though. I cleaned it out and there's no more dirt.


And it flashes some colours before this displays on the TV


Is this cart just plain borked or is this fixable? I don't really care since it was a cent, but still.

Damage on the shell is not after lighter, but heat/sun light. Just has been stored in wrong conditions.
