Just was wondering what you guys use the most/what you like most.

I prefer the Sansui Joycard SSS.  They're a bit bigger and heavier than a standard NES controller, and the cord is a lot longer.  It has a headphone jack and volume control on it, but those end up being more novelty than useful.  The turbo functions tend to stop working, though (I have four of them, and the turbo has stopped working on all of them).

So it's got useless novelty features and the one useful feature seems to always break?  Sounds like a great controller  ;)

But it's got a longer extension cord! ;)

I'll stick with that sideways remote thing with a cord sticking out of the side any day.  I tried the dogbone controller, &, while not bad, it takes a little getting used to.  The only reason I really don't use it is because it's the only one I've got.

The NES Max would be alright if the D-pad wasn't replaced with whatever the hell that thing is. :-\

SuperMarioBrosSuperShow

famicom controller with the microphone

133MHz

Standard NES controller with freaking long cable. I like to play lying in my bed ;D

Doc

Can't beat the original NES controller. :)

Personally I like the Dogbone NES2 Controller. Its cord is much longer than the AV Famicom's but keeps the same feel. I thnk its the more comfertable controller to use and I use it to play almost anything that isn't a shooter. For shooters, I use the NES Advantage.

MarioMania

NES Model 1 Controller with the NES Satellite..I like going wireless

I agree on the NES Dogbone.  Why are Famicom controller cables so short?

I think because Japanese houses are small so you have to sit very close to the TV ;D while Americans like to lie in the couch eating junk food :P

Have you ever seen the average Japanese apartment? espically in Tokyo, its about the size of the average American livingroom total. The small spcaces mean that there's enough room for a bed, a small kitchen and bathroom, but everything else left over is a bonus. Therefore, Japanese televisions are small, their consoles are small, and because theres no need for longer controllers, they make them short.
