A couple month ago, I was given a pal Nes by a friend, that did'nt work.

I change the 72 pins connector and it worked like the first days  :).

I decided last week to custom it for fun, with the idea to transform it in a famicom style.

I began with the console :

I'm now looking after a spencil to make the nintendo mark. Also I did'nt paint the power and reset buttons, cause I don't have spencil to do that. Kepping these buttons isn't shocking I think.

This week I'm doing the paintjob with the pads, I painted pads in red and the pads overlays with gold effect :

For the writings (select, start, B, A...) I had the idea to print it directly on the overlays with my inkjet printer, and it worked  :'( :

Now, I have to varnish the pads and the job will be done  :D.

HELL!!! That's bloody good :) One question - didi you applied clear coat on top or it's just gloss paint?
I don't buy, sell or trade at moment.
But my question is how hackers at that time were able to hack those games?(c)krzy

On the top (and for the rest), I used a coat of primer, then sanding with 600, then white car paint, sanding with 2000, polish, varnish, and polish  :)

Your red nes controller reminds me of a project I did for a friend. I turned an old nes controller into a Tg16 controller then I painted red manly just because. :-X
