all my famicom does is make grey fuzz, can someone help me with this? (my tv is compatible with the japanese format
and i am using a megadrive 1 power adapter)

Have you made sure the game or games you are using to test the system are absolutely clean? My Famicom does this from time to time when my games get dirty. Take a cotton swab and some alcohol and clean the pins of the game if you have not already done so.
Here are a few games I am looking for right now
Super Puzzle Fighter II X (Sega Saturn)
GeGeGe no Kotarou (Sega Saturn)
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (Sega Saturn)
KiKi KaiKai (PC Engine) (CIB)
Puzzle Bobble (Super Famicom) (CIB)

if this happens with me i will blow on the cartridge

it also does the same thing when i do not insert a cart, also when i opened it up,it was full of dust and hair, i cleaned it up as best i could,
but still did the exact same thing.

How do you have the Famicom connected to the TV?  RF Adapter?  A/V cables?  Through a VCR?  What channel do you have TV tuned to?

famicomdiskkun

i use the rf connected to an old sony trinitron CRT (pal) and a sega sg-3000 power adapter (uk version)

UglyJoe

I haven't heard of a PAL TV that will work with a Famicom via the RF adapter (but I guess they might exist?).  For NTSC TVs, you need to tune into channel 95 or 96 to get it to work.  What channels have you tried?

P

I've seen them. They exists but they are rare. Try all channels and see if you can get something that resembles a picture at all.

can you give me the model of your sony trinitron ? (i am 100% sure that it does support ntsc because most of them do but just to be sure)
I am back everyone :)

So enter the service menu press these buttons in the following order :

(on screen display) -> 5 -> volume up ->  tv

and then tt will show on your  corner

and with 19 you can enable disable NTSC :)
I am back everyone :)
