Calling it like it is.  I'm not usually outspoken on here but have noticed you can be, maybe you don't mind looking and sounding vexed, but the blog itself is nice to see and the guy isn't under some obligation to make repros for you.
It's fine to not be a fan of that, but making him out like he's some sacrilegious community hating fella just makes you look sour.  Instead of taking a step back and considering that, you just lash out with little insults.  I didn't pretend to know any story, you slate the guy on a public forum and then complain people don't know your background story.

There you go assuming you know whats really going on again.  Actually Im pissed because after this guy won the game multiple people from all over the world asked him if he would share it, if hed accept donations then share it, etc. His respo0nse was basically "For as long as this is in my collection, which will be until Im dead, nobody will see anything more than a few screenshots." Nah nah, I have it and you never will."

Thats why Im pissed, I could give a shit about him making me a repro, nor did I say he was obligated to make anybody one. But being offered WAY over the price you paid just to dump the rom and refusing too AND THEN BE A DICK ABOUT IT, thats why this guy is a MFer and I want nothing more than for his precious game to end up dumped online. . Only time Im sour is when people think they know everything and try to be tough like you or go off insulting good members.

My Japanese friend  talked with the blog owner, he is NOT making reproductions to sell, except for the one pictured which is for a close friend of his.  

My friend is trying to talk the guy into making one other for him.  If it happens the game will be immediately dumped.

Why he should be bothered to do repros? Tell us the reason, please.

I never said he has to make me a repro nor did I ever state I wanted a repro made. I saw the picture, it hinted towards reproductions, my Japanese friend asked and found out hes only making one. Read all my posts next time, Thanks.

Unfortunately for me I do read all your posts.  It's not assumption to try and fill in the gaps, you don't present the whole story.  I think you like the drama, I do not try and 'act tough', this is an internet forum, I'm amazed you said that, are you in your teens?  I don't think my comments are assheaded and I don't have folks making mountains out of molehills like you do.

You should have bid more, sounds like he might be a bit of a tool but it still sounds like you're pretty a jealous little net warrior looking for an excuse to complain.  No wonder some people hold back favours.

As stated already, the cash offer between collectors including myself was WELL OVER what he paid for the game. It was an offer a normal person wouldnt have been able to refuse.

Meh, I recently found the American version on a Famicom cart, and that is good enough for me.  If I were to own the Japanese version, I would want the real proto, heh.

The reproductions, including the one featured in this thread, are most definitely different than the prototype rom pictured in the YJ auction.  That much I'm sure of.

I would guess that the reproduction featured in this thread is likely a translation of the English rom, but I'd need to see more in-game pics to be sure.

I did not win the auction.  The guy that won the auction is an AWESOME guy though, and he'll make sure the rom and game get a fitting release.  It couldn't have gone to a better person, myself included.
