The sign costs about $40-$50 to ship, or so I thought.  It has to go via EMS if it's being shipped alone.  It's too large to be shipped via cheap Airmail or Sal.  The cheaper Airmail and Sal rates for items under 2 KG only applies if the item is less than 60 cm long, and the sign is longer than that.  If it's bundled with other items it will be cheaper since it doesn't weigh that much.

Find someone who lives or works on a US base in Japan and the shipping costs are similar to shipping from Hawaii.

My sister brought me from her trip two famicom pirate carts. One of them is 82 in 1 and has the usual games that come in a pirate but the other one is 5 in 1 and comes with Samurai Pizza Cats, Snow Bros, Aladdin 3, Sonic the hedgehog, and ice climber. I can post photos later when I get batteries for my camera.

Partena's Mirror! It's a really cool game, so if you aren't thinking "awesome" right now, you are wrong! :)

HOWEVER, when I put the disk in, I see the Zelda 1 title screen loading! What's up with that? Seems like somebody put Zelda 1 on it, because it certainly isn't Partena's Mirror. Even though the label of the case as well as both sides of the disk say it is, it clearly isn't!

So I've been playing Zelda 1 today. Man, it's been almost ten years since I last played it. Cool game. I still remember many of the secrets too. Interesting that the sound effects are quite different in the FDS version.

JC

Its possible that the disk was rewritten with a different game. Sometimes people will leave the original game on one side and write a different game to the other side. I've never had it happened where I expected it to be one game (because of the cover, labels) and it turned out to be a different one.

Hey, nice! Those little cases are so neat. I'd love to have one for each of my games, but that'd start to cost a lot. :-\

Yeah the main reason I bid on this lot is for those cases....I'm putting my favorite carts on them.

I have my favorite games in a cassette tape case. You'd be surprised, but Famicom games are about the same size as the cassette tapes' clear plastic shell covers. Mine case holds about 20 games and looks like a small briefcase. It's cool, and I only paid about $2 for it.

EDIT: Haha..."Mine case..."
