I recently came across a hack of Pandamar called Pika. It's OK. Someday I'll get around to posting screens of it.

Twice.

One of the malls in Winnipeg had a dollar store that was selling a famiclone nes with 8 built in games, Pika being one of them.

I don't have many pirate carts, so here are photos of my complete pirate collection. I don't have a lot of pirates but I do have some great games though. :)

From top to bottom, left to right;
SuperVision Super Mario Bros 2 JPN,110 in 1, another 110 in 1, Golden Game 260 in 1, 190 in 1, Super Mario Bros 2 JPN,
Dynamite Bowl, Glitched/weird SMB, Dream Mary, 76 in 1, Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2 JPN, Contra JPN version, yie-Ar Kungfu, Warpman, Double Dragon 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, Miracle Bio Bokute (lol keep forgetting the name! :P)

JC

That Star Wars labeled cart is my favorite multi.

keiffer01

Yeah it is a rather good multi, but I prefer the golden game 260 in 1. Its game menu is fantastic, features some kind of built in game genie for some games, and it features lots of various games you rarely see in a pirate, including one porno game :P

Nice lot! I like looking at collections like that, they make me warm and fuzzy inside while I plot to steal them all away.. (wait did I say that out loud?)
:o
Dance, puppets... dance!

MaxXimus

I am jealous of that Bio Miracle cart (Mario Baby)

Also, those are some nice Mario 3 pirates.

keiffer01

Well,in the pictures there is really only one Super Mario Bros. 3 pirate (the yellow cartridge). The other one contains Super Mario Bros. 2 JPN. Originally it was in a black casing with ''LOST LEVELS'' written on it, but since it was all broken up and ugly I decided to take a Mario Bros. 3 casing to hold the Super Mario Bros. 2 JPN game. By the way I also forgot to take a picture of another Super Mario Bros. 3 pirate which is exactly the same as the white one pictured and it's boxed.

Awesome pirate collection I would love to have your stuff!

I really need to take some pictures of my collection again, across all platforms(FC,SFC,N64,PSX,PS2,Gameboy,etc...) I'll probably just borrow my girlfriends digital camera one day.

Anybody got a new interesting pirate or a pirate they never posted? Gosh, I can't wait until the new FW is up, so I can get to posting info and reviews of all my crap.

FamicomFreak

That's going to be kewl. When is it going to be up?

Well I'd have to say "the most interesting" of my (3) pirate/bootleg carts is...

For a pirate cart and as a VS. Fighting game at that, it actually controls "okay" and I
can actually manage to pull of more than a few super moves (mostly with Jubei), but
at the end of the day... it's a pirate bootleg with more than it's fair share of problems.

The selectable characters are:
(listed from left to right as on select screen)

Haomaru, Charolette, Hattori  Hanzo, Ukyo, Nakoruru, Nicotine
Yagyu  Jubei, Cham Cham, Amakusa (then repeated twice)

Again, for VS. Fighting I'd have to say this is hella tight on the Famicom (especially for a boot)
but it's still got *issues*  :D  Beyond this I don't have much to contribute in this thread, other
than that this one can be had through Hong Kong distributors from time to time, but then I
imagine that's where they all come from.  The one I'm looking for is that CONTRA 7 game
that uses Mighty Final Fight stages, something about that peaked my interest awhile back.
Below is a picture of the only (3) boots I do have, but of course I'm always looking for more.

Gaming peaked in the 8-Bit & 16-Bit eras...
all else is just rehashes and insanity passing
itself off as "gaming."
