Depends on how the mod was done.

If it was done properly, the extra sound will work fine.
If not, there will be no extra sound (but fortunately you can correct the mod).

If you see a pseudo stereo output, then you can be sure that the extra sound won't work.

It's very probable that you won't get any extra sound with that setup. Fortunately it's just a matter of taking the wire that's soldered to the SOU pin and soldering it to pin 3 (counting from left and looking towards RF modulator) where the wires leave the motherboard and enter the RF modulator box. That will fix the extra sound issue ;)

Yes, just make sure your RF modulator works before removing it, otherwise you'll end up with nothing at all.
My FC's RF modulator was butchered by the previous owner who did the AV mod (presumably to make some space for the mod), I had to buy some electronic parts to bring it back to life.

just tried it on chanel 96 and 95 and didnt get a good picture on ether of them that was with a rf to f type conection i use 4 atari, coleco and intellivision  should i try a nes rf ? the rf to f seems to give me a better pic on my nes i dont think it will help :'(

The RF to F connection is the best in signal quality.
Either your TV is having trouble picking up the signal or the RF modulator is out of tuning (due to somebody messing with it).

Better stick to fixing the AV mod, the quality is much, much better and you won't have to put up with that RF BS.

i dont trust my sodering skill may be i should just buy a new one oh poop! do you have any pictures  of were it needs to be resoldered? or info on who i can send this to have this mod fixed ?

133MHz

My Famicom has a different motherboard than yours.
If you can provide pictures of your Famicom's motherboard, I can show you where.

My Famicom has the A/V Mod (with extra sound) and the RF modulator still works...I guess that guy at the one site (/vague) knows what he's doing :P
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Sorry for the delay, I've been very busy lately.
Here's what you need to do:

Tell us how it goes when you do it, and don't hesitate to ask any question you may have ;).

works great !!! both games have so much more sound depth, it always seemed as if the sound they had before was out of place but now it all comes together!  the extra sound  was the reason i wanted to get into famicom collecting and this makes it all worth it.133 how can i repay you for all your help? are you in to any other  hobbies or in to other old platforms maybe i can help with spare parts  i collect many diff platforms.   thank you !!!!!!         ;)   by the way ive been letting the opening music from galaxy odyssey loop for over a half hour just cant beleve the diff almost early snes quality. ;D ;D ;D
