sorry, but it still doesn't make sense.  If it's not a GBC cart, and also not an emulator, how do you play those GBC games on a GBA?

Just to clarify, when I said emulator I meant that the emulator is on the GBA cart itself, but the games play just exactly the same as if you had put an old GBC cart in the GBA.

So, this thing literally is like an oversized cart, like this?  http://www.gameboy-advance.net/img/cards/gb_bridge_nice.jpg

I understand now - you want to use this, on your regular GBC? If I've still got it wrong, I swear I'm not doing it on purpose :D

I know how the GBC/GB emulator works for the GBA. I don't want to use emulation. The GB bridge plugs into a GBC or GBA cartridge slot, and allows you to use flash 2 advance cartridges (they come in capacities of 256mb or higher) to store and play GBC/GB games. The reason I want these is because other GB/GBC flash carts only go up to 64mb whereas flash 2 advance carts are higher capacity. I do have two 64mb GB/GBC flash carts (Bung Mr Flash carts) but it sucks swapping carts and 64mb isn't all that big especially when you want to put a bunch of GBC games on carts.

"I know how the GBC/GB emulator works for the GBA. I don't want to use emulation."

...Would've been much clearer if from the start you said you wanted to use it on a GB or GBC, all you said was "I want to put GB/GBC games on a GBA flashcart".  I also meant that it's not a homebrew emulator like you'd find on a PSP but it doesn't matter anyway.

I looked for a GB bridge for ages last night and found a couple, but then went to buy and got an out of stock message after that.  I'm sure they will pop up on ebay or a chiptune community at some point.

Would you play them on an original, pocket, Light or Gameboy colour?  I bought a gamboy Light recently and was gutted when I couldn't use the transfer kit with LSDJ as my laptop doesn't have a parallel port..

I shouldn't have to say if i wanted to play it on a gb or gbc. They don't pop up anywhere at all and I have been searching for this for about 4-5 months with no success. Like you, ever site they are mentioned on says out of stock. I will be wanting to use the GB bridge with an SP.

You shouldn't have to say whether you want to play it on a GB or GBC?  Well, if you ever wanted to make sense you should, jeez..  Your attitude stinks, especially when I'm only trying to help.
