There's a guy was selling Famicom to NES Converter as in a modded Gyromite one..selling for $50 would you pay that much for a modded Converter??

I think that's to much on a Modded one, I got a Honeybee one for $15

Oh ok ..

Anyone else??

I also own a Honeybee Converter, aren't they wonderful?

I've got a Honeybee. It works, as long as you carefully insert the cart onto it. Not bad for what it is. I suppose a modded converter from a Stack Up, or Gyromite, or other early NES title would work well, as long as it was cased well. I thought about digging one up, and placing it in half an NES cartridge... but it was cheaper to get the Honeybee than it would have been to get a bunch of carts that may or may not have had a converter. Having a 5 screw case is no guarantee that it has a converter board in it.

But no, I would not pay $50 for a modded converter. Unless it was a really snazzy built one with LEDs in it or something, and in a clear casing (could be done, I have seen some impressive mod jobs on cartridges).

I don't care how many laser it shoots out, for $50 you might as well get a famicom!

It's very easy to make one yourself. That's what I did.

No ribbon to pull it out of the system? What a ripoff! I demand a ribbon! >:(

Looks really cheap. Instead, find a local game store with lots of copies of Gyromite; see which one's heaviest and buy that one. Then get out the Dremel and go to town. :)

if you can find a copy of Gyromite that has the adapter inside, you can do this yourself for only the cost of Gyromite, which varies in price depending on the seller's knowledge of what exactly is special about it.

I have a Gyromite with a converter, PM me if you're interested.

I wouldn't even say that's worth $25

I say thats a lot. However I got mine for free så I actually have no idea about what it is worth but I guess I would'nt pay more than 10 bucks for one. Otherwise I just buy a Famicom and do the AV modification. I will do that some day
