The dude has finally gotten back to me. He said something in the save feature might have gotten corrupted. He's gonna send me the ROM again. Let's hope it doesn't take another week.

I played straight through each level, its pretty hard.

There are worlds A through D also, but you have to beat the game 8 times to access it...yikes.

Oh, & the "Family-Computer-Golf-Japan-Course.fds" file wasn't the Gold Disk version.  What you wanted was Golf Japan Course - Nyuushou.  I've attatched the 2 different versions of this ROM that is on the net as of now.
