Here's my thoughts on the PSN beat 'em up Scott Pilgrim vs the world the game. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I played the demo with my girlfriend--it didn't seem terrible, but I got my fill of it with the demo.

Looking at your review, it seems you may have meant that the sixth book in the series was released (it reads "fifth" in your review).  Otherwise, you're doing a good job with these reviews.  They're generally well written and the format makes it easy to read  ;)

Yeah man. Please edit your post. No need for spoilers for the comics here.

I loved the game.  It's basically a new River City Ransom.

The only thing I don't like is that once your characters stats are leveled up (you get by eating food or buying certain items) you become unstoppable powerhouses.
It really takes the challenge out of the game, even on the harder difficulties.  Leveling up and earning more moves is one thing, but gaining permanent stat benefits damages the experience.

But before that starts happening, you'll probably have beaten the game at least one, so I guess I can almost forgive it.

It's a great game, with an amazing soundtrack.

I liked the demo but not enough to actually buy it.

1) I'm anti-buying DLC's
2) The movie was so cheesy
3) During the demo I lost a life and had to start all over again, lame!

1) Why? It's quite beneficial to both the consumer and the developer.
2) You're the first person I've ever seen/heard say that.
3) Excuse them for trying to present a challenge. :P
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

NintendoDork @ I like to hold what I buy, that's why I don't buy DLC's, I only download if it's free. :P

Anyway, this is how Scott Pilgrim the Video Game would look like if it came out on Blu-ray Disc (PS3), not really but feels nostalgic.
