What's your personal favorite NES zapper game? Mine is Gumshoe :)

Gumshoe! Yes I agree, my favorite as well!  :D

Duck Hunt -- because that's the only one I've played. :( I just might have to track down Gumshoe.

Oddly I find Gumshoe to be my favorite also; maybe because it carries many platform aspects.

Flash1087

I should give Gumshoe a try sometime.

Out of the few I've played, I have to give the nod to Barker Bill's Trick Shooting.

I go for Gumshoe too, but Wild Gunman roolz too much man.

Gumshoe has to be one of the most underrated games of all time...

Same answer for me.  :P
Duck Hunt's quite fun to play.

Yeah, Duck Hunt's fun to play, but only once in a while. Everytime I get to like, level 30 in Duck Hunt, I just tend to get tired of it and stop playing it for a while.

Gumshoe is neat and has awesome music, but my hand gets tired way too quickly.

I prefer Hogan's Alley.  Did that have the mode where you shoot cans and stuff and try to get them to land on some brick ledges on the left side of the screen?  That was a fun mini-game.

Yeah that's a fun mini game :) But back in the days I would've never bought Hogan's Alley for 50$. It gets boring as you go on, just like Duck Hunt.

Bayou Billy uses the Zapper too right?

Bayou Billy, Lone Ranger, & Track & Field II were some Konami games that used the Lightgun but weren't exclusively for it.  Are there any others?

keiffer01

Baby Boomer by Color Dreams also used it.

From what I've heard and seen, most NES games either use the Zapper or don't, and some let you use either. Are there any games that make use of the Zapper only a part of the time, say, for a level or a boss battle, etc.?
