NES Controller layout

Can anyone help me on putting together a NES Controller on the SNES...But Colors goes to where..I'm new at this..Would it Damage my SNES

Why would you want to do that?  You'd be missing 4 buttons.

It should be possible, the NES uses one 4021 parallel to serial convertor while the SNES uses two.  I know a SNES pad can be hooked up to a NES by changing the connector, so I'd imagine the reverse is true.

Just out of ceriousity what colors go where for the SNES controller on the NES? I tried it out doing the same colors but couldn't get it to work.

It has nothing to do with colors.  It has to do with the pin outs.

Try Googling for NES pin out and SNES pin out, then compare the two.

Ok, I googled it, it didn't help me..I want pics how to do the Mod, Not some Txt
