be mindful that this cart doesn't always work on actual hardware.  I believe it is just a trace that needs cutting or something simple - but worth a mention.  Graphics show up as garbled on my AV Famicom, if this is the one that has 30 lives.

took the punt and both are working just fine on my av famicom.
too bad im not really a bootleg cart collector but im sure ill get some use out of them.
i actually dont mind the polish bootlegs as they dont feel like the plastic will snap just by sneezing on them.

I hope you got your Gimmick pirate for a good price. I have the same one (and it works fine on my AV Famicom), but I paid way too much for it. I really want a legit one someday, but that price is spiraling out of control.

Sorry I haven't been on this thread in the last month. Last time I was here, I did create some confusion for a few of our non-U.S. members when I said "no one here [in the States] had a Master System." That was a minor exaggeration. It was sold here, but it sold very poorly. A statistic I saw once said that by 1990, Nintendo's NES owned 89% of the home videogame market in the States. And the SMS was still battling Atari's aging consoles for that other 11%, of course. I literally knew only one person with an SMS until well into my adulthood, and he was a guy who also had an Atari Jaguar, Sega Saturn, and all kinds of unsuccessful systems.
Can Nintendo Age Beat Every NES Game in 2015?

How much is a loose and CIB copy of Just Breed going for these days? I might be interested in getting a copy.
Here are a few games I am looking for right now
Super Puzzle Fighter II X (Sega Saturn)
GeGeGe no Kotarou (Sega Saturn)
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (Sega Saturn)
KiKi KaiKai (PC Engine) (CIB)
Puzzle Bobble (Super Famicom) (CIB)

It's cheap - I got mine for around 10 bucks I think?  How's your Japanese though?  A translation does exist I should note, Gideon Zhi translated it years ago.

My nihongo isn't too bad, but not near enough to play RPGs like that. I was actually curious about getting it turned into an English language cart, since I know of a reputable guy who can do that.

I did the same, I'd say go for it - there seem to be enough copies out there that aren't being enjoyed, to justify it.  Heck, even the artwork justifies it if you ask me.

Agreed, it's drawn by Yuuji Takada, the Sazan Eyes author. One of my favo manga.

I got the game CIB in mint condition for around $10 I think.

Edit: Well as mint as a used Famicom cart usually gets. The pins were dirty and needed cleaning before they game was playable (this cart has screws and is easy to open).

What are some rare carts going for these days?

I have been looking at Adventure Island 4 and the gold Punch Out! cart. Saw some recently for reasonable price so considering picking them up  ;D

Yeah that sounds about right - thanks for the heads up!

BonBon

Look to pay around $120 to $130 for a punch out gold.

HVC-Man

I notice Rockman 1 is pretty pricey, did it not sell as well as its sequels?

On top of that, all the other Rockman games are kinda expensive, usually $20 - $30 a piece, very similar to their NES counterparts. Are Rockman/MegaMan fans all made of money?
