Super Nintendo RGB vs HD Upscaling

The RGB cable actually looks better, from saturation to sharpness. Only problem, the sort of "net" effect on the screen. I don't know what causes this but it's pretty distracting for me.

Personally I'll keep using composite upscaling, because first the "net" effect and second because my TV is dumb and has component plugs too close to the scart plug which means
I can't have both plugged in at the same time, and I have component stuff I want plugged in, switching back and forth is a hassle.

I'm assuming you're using an HD LCD TV?  I do think RGB is for CRTs really, but you get that smoothness with the upscaler on HDTVs.

Maybe a vdieo expert could chime in on what causes that matrix netting effect.
